Sony Professional launches competition to help support new talent in the broadcast industry

15th February 2010, Basingstoke, UK - Sony Professional is today proud to announce the launch of the Sony PROduction Awards, an exciting new competition aimed at giving aspiring video producers a once in a life-time opportunity to get their talents noticed worldwide. To celebrate the launch of Sony’s new NXCAM camcorder, Sony has teamed up with a number of Europe’s leading AV forums to give content creators an exclusive chance to win an all expenses paid trip to the 2010 UEFA Champions League Final.

Those up for the challenge will have their video judged by thousands of people in a bid to earn the respect of their fellow peers and broadcast professionals. The winners will receive not only the recognition they deserve but also guidance and support from the Sony Professional team to help them further grow and develop their talents.
